Love is.
The most beautiful definition of love for me is the one from 1 Corinthians 13:4.
This is the first greeting card that I have created which I won’t be able to include on my A Card for a Cause since I have forgotten to set the resolution to 300 dpi. (Do you know if there’s away to still print them with an okay quality?) It’s quite sad for me but I am happy to be able to share this with all of you.
My artworks are always inspired by anything related to the beauty of life and the goodness of God.
I had this vision of a couple holding hands showing their silhouette. It took me almost an entire day drafting this piece in PhotoShop (difficult to draw weaved hands but love it!) then coloring it and putting some light. Looking at this piece made me feel the one that I hold hands with. Can you feel the love?
I stumbled upon 2 insights related to Love:
(1) We don’t hurt the people that we love; so if someone is willing to hurt you, it goes to show that he or she doesn’t love you.
(2) When you truly care for someone, their mistake never changes our feelings because it is the mind that gets angry but the heart still cares.
For the first insight I am not sure if I will be in agreement with it since love has its trials and one way or another one of us can hurt or get hurt. I do want to believe that we should not hurt the one we love. But how is that possible not to happen?
The second insight truly happens in love. That point when you feel so angry that the world might end anytime but after a few hours your heart returns to its normal speed, tears dried and you can’t help but think about him or her.
We are taught by God to love one another as He have loved us. At the end of the day, we can’t let it go by without saying how much we love and appreciate the people we hold dearly in our hearts.
To be a Christian means to forgive the inexcusable because God has forgiven the inexcusable in you. (C.S. Lewis)

You should be able to go back to the original or the one you have here and make a copy set at the dpi you are wanting when doing it. Did you do it in Photo shop or another program? Also using a resource like Picnic where you can upload image and resize / settings. Hope that helps? I really enjoyed seeing the silhouette of the couple holding hands.
Thanks so much Theresa for the help! I am not sure if making a copy and set it at a dpi would work since this is already a final piece. I will try Picnic. I did this via PhotoShop. Thanks again.. I really appreciate your help.
A wonderful silhouette painting…a beautiful sentiment and card
Thanks so much!
A lovely post about love. the silhouette is beautiful. Is it a hand drawn piece as if so you could just scan it at the right resolution. If its graphic design then I really don’t know anything about that, sorry! Hope you can get it sorted to print out as a card.
Thanks so much. I did this via PhotoShop. I hope this gets sorted out soon.
Beautiful scripture chosen for you image. I hope you find a solution to recreate the card as you would like. Happy PPF!
Thanks Sheri. Some people here have offered help so I might try their suggestions.
WOW! I thought this was a photo! Amazing work, and very moving image.
Thanks so much Carla! I am very happy that you love it!
Absolutely inspiring work! Love the image. Love the scripture. I also doubt that it is possible to go through life and not hurt the one(s) you love at some time or other. But love prevails if it is real love.
I totally agree Faye. Love always wins and never fails. Thanks so much for your lovely words!
Awesome, elegant and very Zen like ~thanks, namaste, Carol (Share the Creative Journey) Happy PPF ^_^

lovely sentiment and interpretation of it…happy PPF
Thank you Tracey!
Wonderful and romantic.
Thanks Eva!
Actually I think we do hurt the people we love. It’s inevitable because what we do matters to the people we love and we are sometimes insensitive! Nice card, it’s a pity you can’t use it! Were you able to find a printer? Patsy from HeARTworks
Thank you Patsy! I agree that it’s not possible to not hurt the ones we love. One way or another we might hurt them but the most important thing is that we learn how to patch things up:)
That’s a beautiful and meaningful card; it’s wonderful to be inspired the way that you have said.
Thanks a lot!
This is lovely!
Thanks a lot Heather!
Lovely image and beautiful words
Thank you very much Angie!
Love the image. That’s my favorite verse too. If ever I get married, I imagine ourselves just like that even when our hair is all white. =)
I couldn’t agree more with you.. that’s what we all hope for. Thanks for dropping by!
